Maintenance and Trouble Shooting of Powder Grinding Machine

1. Maintenance

Note: The powder milling machine must be isolated before any maintenance can be started.

(1) During the operation, check the temperature of the bearing. If it is up to 60 C degree, stop the machine and check it.

(2) For the new powder mill machine, the drive belt is easy to be elongated. So adjust the tightness of the belt

(3) Check and change the wearing parts

(4) Check the sieve before operation.

(5) The movable hammer and liner are abrasive parts. Check them if the finish powder is coarse.

(6) Use 2# white special grease on bearings of the main machine. The use term of bearing is 2000 hours. Fill 1/2 of the bearing chamber. Do not be too much.

2. Cleaning and routine maintenance by operator

Do the cleaning and routine maintenance after a period (every month normally, but it also depends on the use.) or change of the material.

The dismantling approaches:

2.1 Main machine

2.1.1 Open the door cover; take out the sieve frame; screw the nuts; take out the movable hammer; screw the bolts of liner and shell; take out the liner.

2.1.2 take out the belt cover; pull out the belt wheel; screw the nut of fan-device shell and machine shell; take out the fan-device cover; take out the fan wheel

2.1.3 Screw the connect nuts of the bearing stand and machine shell; take out the bearing stand. Then clear the grinding chamber.

2.2 Pulse dedusting system

If cleaning or changing the filter pockets, open the door of the deduster; screw the pockets along with the frame pipes; take out the filter pockets from the deduster along with the frame pipes.

2.3 Tubes Cleaning

Take down the fastening nuts at the joints and the air-lock device; clear all the tubes.

Note: connect the tubes and parts well and fasten them before operation.
